Counties Declared
As Disaster Areas
Hospice Accepting
Applications For
Training Program
To be designated as a primary disas-
ter area, the Farmers Home Adminis-
tration determines if a sufficient num-
ber of farmers in each county suffered
losses of 30cio or more. The counties
designated as contiguous disaster areas
were declared so because they were
adjacent to the primary disaster area,
but did not have the same extent of
losses.
Each loan application will be con-
sidered on its own merits, taking into
account the extent of losses, security
available, repayment ability and other
requirements.
For more information, producers
should contact a local FmHA county
office.
Low-interest emergency loans are
available to eligible farmers and ranch-
ers in 26 West Texas counties that
were declared disaster areas due to
drought, freeze, insects and rain be-
tween May 1 and December 31,1991,
