Cats win three at home
The Texas Department of Health
will conduct Immunization clinic in
the Parish Hall on Wednesday, De-
cember 13 from 1:30-4 p.m.
Beginning August 1, 2000, the
Hepatitis B immunization was re-
quired for children turning 12 this
school year. Also on that date, paren-
tal notification of the chickenpox dis-
ease or proof of the vaccination was
required for all 12 year olds and kin-
dergarten entry. The varicella immu-
nization or parental notification of
the disease was also required for all
children 12 months old and older in
any daycare, registered home or pre-
school setting.
DTaP, Polio, Measles, Mumps and
Rubella and Hepatitis B for infants as
well as all kindergarten/school boost-
ers are available.
The tetanus immunization is avail-
able to any adult who has not had one
in 10 years.
Please bring immunization records
and social security numbers with you
to the clinic. A parent, adult family
member or legal guardian must ac-
company a minor. All services pro-
vided by the Texas Department of
Health are provided on a sliding fee
scale but no one is denied services
due to an inability to pay. For more
information on any of the immuniza-
tions, please call 574-2159.
The 7th grade Lady Cats defeated
Seymour Lady Panthers 36-20.
Graves lead Lady Cats with 12 points
followed by Wuthrich and Martinez
with 6 each. Reneau with 5, Gary,
Reynolds and Lindeman with 2 each
and Stults with 1. Lady Panthers high
pointer was Myers with 7.
The 8th grade Lady Cats defeated
the Lady Panthers 46-19. Cavitt lead
the Lady Cats with 19 points, fol-
lowed by Huffman with 7, Shaffer
with 6, Goforth with 4, Simpson and
Cox with 3, Jones and Springer with
2. Lady Panthers were lead by Winn
and Busby with 6 each.
The 9th grade Lady Cats took their
second win for the season against the
Lady Panthers with a final score 40-
13. With all team members scoring,
Arey was high pointer for the Lady
Cats with 12 points followed by Hicks
with 10, Womack with 7, Tettleton
and Bullard with 4 each and Hopkins
with 3.
The Lady Cats travel to Electra
next Monday night, December 11th.

Rehab kicks off annual
Lift A Life Campaign
The Archer City Blazers played soccer for the first time ever
this fall in the Greater Wichita, Falls Soccer Association. These 4
and 5 year olds are: Darren Richey, Matthew Haehn, Tanner
Hash, Hunter York, Whitney Owen, Lexi Hilbers, and Hannah
Davis. The coaches are Debra Haehn and Kimbra York.

Eight students from Windthorst High
School were inducted into the Na-
tional Honor Society in a ceremony
held in the Windthorst Library. The
new members were selected for dem-
onstrating outstanding performance in
scholarship, service, leadership and
character.
Parents and guests were greeted by
Superintendent Ms. Anne Poplin. Stu-
dents inducted from the Sophomore
class were Dia Berend, Felicia
Hoffman, Meagan Merrill and Adam
Wolf. Junior inductees were Trina
Berend, Casey Meurer and Lance
Ostermann. Rebecca Koetter was the
only senior inductee. A reception fol-
lowed the ceremony. Current mem-
bers Juliann Wolf, Carrie Berend,
Valerie Conrady, Kendra Newton,
Terri Schroeder, and J.D. Steinberger,
along with graduating members Ellen
Stallcup, Nathan Anderle, and
Cassandra Hoffman helped with the
ceremony and reception. Kelly Horn,
Kyle Schroeder, and Samantha Zotz,
past NHS members were unable to
attend.
The National Honor Society ranks
as one of the oldest and most presti-
gious national organizations among
high school students. It was created to
recognize and encourage academic
achievement while developing other
characteristics essential to citizens in
a democracy.
