"God the Only Cause and
Creator” is the subject of the
lesson-sermon which will be
read in all Churches of Christ,
Scientist, on Sunday, Dec. 8.
The Golden Text is: "Every
house is builded by some man;
but he that built all things is
God.” (Hebrew 3:4).
Among the citations which
comprise the Lesson-Sermon is
the following from the Bible:
‘Tknow that, whatsoever God
doeth, it shall be for ever:
nothing can be put to it, nor
any thing taken from it: and
God doeth it, that men should
fear before him.” (Ecclesiastes
3:14).
The Lesson-Sermon also in-
cludes the following passage
from the Christian Science
textbook, “Science and Health
with Key to the Scriptures” by
Mary Baker Eddy: “The three
great verities of Spirit, omni-
potence, omnipresence, omni-
science,—Spirit possessing all
power, filling all space, consti-
tuting all Science,—contradict
forever the belief that matter
can be actual. These eternal
verities reveal primeval exist-
ence as the radiant reality of
God’s creation, in which all
that he has made is pronounc-
ed by nis wisdom good.” Page

TO THE MAN THAT CARES
A man’s position in the
world depends on his talent
and character, but appearance
counts much in the struggle
for success. Good clothes
alone may not advance you,
but we have yet to see an exe-
cutive of importance who
wasn’t smartly clad. Have your
clothes made. If you don’t
want to pay in full for your
suit now. use our budget plan.
