As to the position we occupy, every
citizen should appreciate, and we be-
lieve they do, as our sole, purpose is
the proper and correct exploitation of
Hopkins county and its great possi-
bilities, and the necessit yfor exploit-
ing. '
Since beginning some three years
ago the exploitation of our county and
its varied products of the farm, orch-
ard and truckingSand stock industries,
we have come before the commercial
and homeseeking world by leaps and
bounds, and so conceded and express-
ed by every citizen in the county. We
have made three annual exhibits of
our varied products, and will again this
year make our fourth annual exhibit
of the products from our different
soils and mining and manufacturing
industries. This plan of exhibiting
has proven of untold value to our coun-
ty and caused our lands to take their
values in the commercial world as
they should, as there was shown their
wonderful producing qualities in the

Hopkins County, Greeting:
Oath having been made as required
by law
You are hereby commanded to sum-
mon Wm. Bogle heirs by making pub-
lication of this Citation once in each
week for foqr successive weeks pre-
vious to the return day hereof, in
some newspaper published in your
County, to appear at the next regular
term of the District Court of Hopkins
County, to be holden at the Court
House thereof, in Sulphur Springs,
on the fourth Monday in August, A. D.
1912, the same being the 26th day of
August, A. D. 1912, then and there
to answer a petition filed in said
Court on the 1st day of August, A. D.
1912, in a suit numbered on the
docket of said Court No. 4843, where-
in the State of Texas is Plaintiff, and
Wm. Bogle heirs are Defendants; the
nature of the demand set out in said
petition being an action hy Plaintiff,
praying for Judgment against the De-
fendants for the sum of Thirteen and
18-lOOths ($13.18) Dollars, being for
the State and County taxes, interest,
penalty and costs, due on the herein-
after described tracts of lands and
real property for the years as fol-
lows, to-wit: 1905, 1906, 1907, 1908
1909 and 1910. That the items of in-
debtedness hereinabove set forth as
due and owing the State of Texap and
County of Hopkins are a charge
against and constitute a lien estab-
lished by law on each tract, lot or
parcel of the following described land
and real property, viz:
All that certain tract or parcel of
land situated in the city of Sulphur
Springs, Hopkins County, Texas, about
500 yards southwest from the public
square of said city, a part of the M.
A. Bolin survey, described by metes
and bounds as follows: . ^
Beginning at a stake on the west
edge of Quitman street, and north edge
of Beasley street;' thence north with
north edge of Quitman street 47 yards;
thence west 70 yards; Whence south
44 yards to the north e<fee of Beasley
street; thence .south 88, east 70 yards
to the beginning.
That the said interest, penalty and
costs accrued thereon by reason of the
sale of said lands to the State or hav-
ing been returned delinquent for the
years 1905, 1906, 1907, 1908, 1909 and
1916 in accordance with law; that

pastor of the Baptist church at this
place, closed his meeting here last

assignee of M. A. Bolin, and is about
600 yards southeast from the public
square of said city, described by metes
and bounds as follows:
“Beginning at a stake 80 feet south
of tbe center of the road bed of the
M. K. & T. Ry. CO tract; and 69 2-3
feet east of a 40 foot alley or street,
and 20 feet south and 69 2-3 feet east
o” the southwest corner of lot No. 3
of plot made for Amanda Davis by
J. L. Gilbert, said beginning corner
being tbe northeast corner of a lot
sold to R. B. Gibbs; thence south 190
feet a 'stake, Gibbs' southeast corner;
thence east 69 2-3 feet a stake; thence
north 190 feet a Stake; thence"west
69 2-3 feet to the beginning and is the
middle one-third of said block No. 3;’’
that said interest, penalty and costs
accrued thereon by reason of the sale
of the said laltts to the State or hav-
ing been returned delinquent for the
