This was the first time a
scrapbook contest was held In
tills deanery. The clrculaalng
trophy was donated by the Ve-

is promoted
John Flores, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Refugio Flores, who live
in Natalia, recently was pro- •
moted to army specialist five
near An Khe, Vietnam, where
he is serving with the 4th in -
fantry Division.
Spec. Flores, a driver in
the division's 704th Mainten-
ance Battalion, entered the
Army in July 1969, complet-
ed basic training at Ft. bum,
and was last stationed at Ft.
Lewis, Washington.
