ECAUSE THE PEOPLE MUST KNOW
oof ball predictions
to feature guest pickers
This year's sports
predictions in the Hondo
Anvil Herald will be taking
f on a new look with the
Addition of a “guest” picker
A each week, according to
A Terry Teague, the AH
sportswriter.
-A Teague and Cheryl
. ?C’lary, AH news writer, will
■a Again be back to try their
hand. Clary started predict-
■ ing the outcome of football
games publicly in the Anvil
Herald three years ago,
when she soundly outguess-
ed Teague and Publisher
Burnis Lawrence. The
following year, she again
outguessed the duo, and
Lawrence withdrew from
the prediction team.
Last year, the publisher
was replaced by KRME
radio station manager Jim
Fridle, who managed to
squeak by Teague and
Clary, outguessing them by
a small margin.
For the first week of
predictions this year, the
guest picker is Hondo
Mayor Woody Glasscock,
who told Teague he is
confident in his guesses.
