Master chefs demand precise temperature
control on their cooktops.
They demand the precision of gas.
These days, people dine out more often than ever before. An average of five times a week in
some places. So in order to satisfy this hungry bunch, master chefs from around the country
demand the very best tools of the trade. When they create their signature dishes, they demand
the precision temperature control and reliability of gas.

Woolls’ air handler noise
still bothering homeowners
The November 20 Hondo ISD
School Board of Trustees meeting was
short, with only eight
items on the agenda.
The 2000 Hondo
Volleyball Team and
their coach were rec-
ognized for their
achievements this past
season. Seven members of the team
maintained a grade point average of
90 percent, two players on the first
team made all district, two players on
the second team made all district and
two players were recognized with an
honorable mention.
• The board heard comments on the
extreme noise created by the air han-
dler at Woolls campus. A petition
signed by nine residents was turned
in to the board asking for a solution to
the noise problem.
“Even though work has been done
and the decibal readings have come
down,” homeowner John Graff said.
“You can still go one and a half blocks
out and hear it. Mr. Coleman has
worked on it and I do appreciate it.
But, the noise is monotonous and <t
really gets on my
nerves.”
To help cut
down on the noise
the units will run
between 8:30 a.m.
and 3:30 p.m. and
during the holidays they will be
turned off. Timers have been installed
to keep track of the time more suc-
cessfully. Styrofoam has been pur-
chased to insulate the walls around the
handler, however the recent rains have
hampered installation.
• The board received the financial
reports for October from Superinten-
dent Doug Coleman. The report
shows the district had received
$118,000 for opening Woolls Cam-
pus.
• The annual financial report audit
showed no irregularities and very
little change in total assets from this
time last year.
