Hear Guilty Pleas
Seven cases were disposed of
in county and justice of the
peace courts during the past
week.
According to County Attor-
ney Britt Plunk’s office, Jerry
Wayne Johnson, 32, 3838 Dou-
ble Tree, Irving, pleaded guilty
in county court to a charge of
driving while intoxicated, and
was fined $250 plus court costs
and placed on six months
unadjudicated probation.
Allen J. Kraklau, 18, Golden
Trailer Park No. 3, Lumberton,
pleaded guilty in county court
to a charge of driving while
intoxicated, and was fined $250
plus $91 court costs and was
placed on six months unadjudi-
cated probation.
Mary Whitt Lopez, 53, St.
Rt. 2, Box 182, Silsbee, pleaded
guilty in county court to a
charge of sale of an alcoholic
beverage to a minor, and was
fined $200 plus $91 court costs.

Thicket Plant Ecology”. She
will speak on plant identifica-

Bike Safety Program
The Veterans of Foreign
Wars Post 8574, in Silsbee, will
sponsor a bicycle Lite-A-Bike
safety program at the Silsbee
Junior High School on April 9,
from 9:30 until 11:30 a.m.
Members of Silsbee Police
Department will be assisted by
V.F.W. members in giving
safety talks and answering
questions on bicycle safety in
the streets and public areas.
Originally scheduled to be
held March 26, the program
was postponed due to bad
weather.
