A non-profit program oflocal residents
Let's go fishing!
On Saturday, April 21,2001, Greater Livingston Folks returns to Lake
Livingston for the Eleventh Annual Seniors and Handicap Fishing Tournament.
In conjunction with local organizers, Great Livingston Folks will be putting
on a fun fishing day for persons with disabilities and residents of local nursing
homes. We are expecting approximately 300 disabled anglers from the Greater
Livingston area and other parts of Texas to fish the waters of Lake Livingston
along the shores at Playcation Station.
As a part of the festivities there will be prizes given away and food!
Greater Livingston Folks is a non-profit program whose mission is to provide
recreational opportunities for the persons with disabilities. In order for some of
our fellow citizens to enjoy a day on the lake it takes a cooperative effort of
volunteers and sponsors.
You can be a part of this event and help us ensure the success of our program
by your sponsorship. We gladly accept whatever dollar amount, goods, or
services that you would like to donate. Your generous gifts are an investment in
the lives of our participants.
