Bartlett baseballers will get
in only two more games be-
fore district play begins. C. It.
Lindsay has taken over as
coach of the team in place of
Don Adkisson.
Jan-ell hosts the Bulldogs
this Friday at 3 p. m.
Bartlett and Holland will
play a game Tuesday April
21.
The first district game will
be played hero in the afternoon
on Friday April 17 with Sa-
lado. Troy comes to Bartlett
April 28 for a night game.
May 1 the Bulldogs play in
Holland and May 15 Bartlett
goes to Buckholts.

Association Elects
Officers Tuesday
Officers were elected when
the Bell County T B Associa
tion met in Temple Tuesday
night at Gourmet Restaurant.
Mrs. R. R. Waguespack of
Temple was elected president.
Dr. Don W. Dysert of Temple
is first vice president; Guy T.
White of Killeen second vice
president; Mrs. Jess Coleman
of Temple secretary; and El
mer Hays of Belton treasurer.
Members of the
committee will be John Kuhl
mann Holland; Dr. John Bry-
son Belton; Mrs. Katherine
Heatly Dr. James D. Wilson
and Dr. R. J. Carabasi all of
Temple.
Mrs. Emily Boyd field rep-
resentative for the Texas TB
Association spoke on "No
Truce for TB." Her theme was
the same as for World Health
Day which was Tuesday.
'She said there are an esti-
mated 15 million persons in the
world with TB and as long as
TB exists to such an extent no
family community or indivi-
dual is safe.
Work by the county associa-
tion during the past year was
reviewed with color slide;?. The
presentation was titled "That
Was the TB Work That Was."
Board members from Bart-
lett are Mesdames Ollie Cline
Elmer Cryer S. L. Roberts and
Cy Young. Mrs. Cline and Mrs.
Young attended Tuesday's
meeting.

Frank Charles Waggoner
who is with Banker's Life and
Casualty Co. (White Cross
Plan) was presented a silver
cup in San Antonio Saturday
for being one of the top pro-
ducers out of 71 agents dur-
ing the month of March.
Waggoner has been with the
company 8 years.
