more than $14,000 have been com-
mitted in new funds for the 1991 pro-
gram.
In 1989-90,1.ISD was able to award
30 Green & White scholarships total-
ing $15,750. The goal of the 1991
Green & White Scholarship Program
is to increase the amount of scholar-
ship money available and to con-
tinue to build the Green & White Per-
manent Scholarship Fund. These
goals will enable the Livingston ISD
to grant awars to a greater number
of deserving graduates.
A committee of I.HS teachers and
administrators will select the
scholarship awardees from the ap-
plications that were turned in and
the winners will be announced at the
High School Awards Night on May
21, 1991.
All donors to the Green & White
Scholarship Fund will be recognized
in accordance with the amount of
their donation. Any community
member needing additional infor-
mation or wanting to donate to the
fund can call the USD Community
Services Office at 327-5556.
