read the double ring ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Daugherty
of Georgetown brother and sister-in-law
of the bridegroom
were the couples' attendants.
The bride wore a bluo suit
and a grey hat trimmed with
mink. She carried a white Bible
topped with white flowers.
Parents of the bride are Mr.
and Mrs. Ray Briscoe of Kansas
City Missouri. She graduated
from a Kansas City High
School and is attending college
in that city.
Mr. Daugherty is a graduate
of Bartlett High School and re-
ceived his degree from Texas
University Austin. He is em-
polyed by Travelers Insurance
Co. in Kansas City. He is the
son of Mr. nnd Mm. Willinm
Daugherty Jr. of Bartlett.
a reception was held in the
homo of the bridegroom's par-
ents immediately following the
ceremony.
The table was covered with
a white cloth and arrangement
of white candles white chry-
santhemums and orange car-
nations marked the center of
the tabic. A white tiered wedd-
ing cake stood on one end of
the table and the punch bowl
on the other end. All table ap-
pointment were of chystal.
Mrs. Eugene Bridges of Tem-
ple presided at the punch bowl
and Mrs. C. P. Hill served the
wedding cake.
After -January 10th the
couple will be at home in Kan-
sas City.

ed the Friday Bridge Club last
Wednesday at -the Stagecoach
Country Club in Salado.
