Marine Corps. The order specifies that
for a period ot' one month beginning
April 1st, a special class of recruits
will be accepted for duty with the ->t!i
Regiment only, which is stationed at
Quantieo, Va., where a .Marine school
providing for vocational and technical
training for Marines is located. \ olun-
teers may apply to Recruiting •Hoad
quarters, Bin/, building, Houston.
Recruits accepted in this class must
be of the highest type and have the
best qualifications as to physique and
character. They are to be attached to
the Expeditionary Brigade, stationed at
Quantico, of which the 5th Regiment
a part. This Brigade is a body made
up of picked men from the Marine
Corps, held in readiness and In constant
training for war or expeditionary duty.
In case of emergency they-are tin first
Marines to lie sent.
While at Quantico, they are afforded
an opportunity of enrolling in the Mar-
ine Corps school there. ( lasses in this j

ery day of the week except Saturday
and Sunday which are. holidays, all inili-j
