Eire Saturday Night.
The First
An alarm of fire about 7 o’clock
Saturday night caused QgnStt&Fable
excitement in town. It was in the
upper part of the warehouse of J.
J. Byrne, in the rear store.
The fire was put out very quickly,
as the fire boys were right on
time, and did good work. The
roof of the structure was about
ruined. The damage is not yet
known, and will not be till com-
plete inspection is made. It will
likely range (between $200 and
$400. There Was quite a quantity
of goods in the room.

The Record is read by most people
The Grunder-Dornbluth team
had their second series of games
Friday night. The first game was
tame and was won by the Grun-
ders. They*also had the Dorn-
fyuths agoing up to the the ninth
frame on the second game when
