tique, making friendship bracelets and signing pillowcases that each girl took home as a souvenir of the
evening. There was also dancing, karaoke and a pajama contest. The boys will have a "lock-in" in the spring.

Plum Creek Elementary and North Joshua Elementary were the leading donors to the Joshua High School Ju-
nior ROTC's canned food drive. Additionally, Brookshire's, the Joshua Lions Club and Joshua United Methodist
Church made contributions. Eighty-eight boxes of canned food and dry goods were collected.

Caddo Grove Elementary participated in the Macy's
"Believe" program. Macy's donates one dollar to
the Make-A-Wish Foundation for every stamped
letter that is placed in their Santa letterboxes. Stu-
dents wrote and mailed 435 stamped letters to San-
ta Claus. On Dec. 19, a few second-graders from
Kellie Johnson's class, that helped come up with the
idea to have Caddo Grove participate in the pro-
gram, delivered the letters to Macy's. The students
met with Santa during their visit.
