The Rural Progress Club met
Wednesday night with a nice
crowd attending. The chair-,
man, Delbert Hays, presided.
Business was handled.
Programs for the next year
were outlined. An hour of
fellowship and refreshments
followed adjournment. The
next meeting on July 9 will be
an ice cream and cake party to
welcome all new families of the
community. Everyone is urged
to participate.
Ellta and Pete Haerle and
family of Austin spent some
time here last week with Trixie
Smith and took care of business
as they were being transferred
to Canada for two years. Col.
Haerle is with the Air Force,
stationed at North Bay, On-
tario, Canada Other visitors
