from the Public Square in said City,
a part of the Mary Ann Bowlin
Survey, Abstract No. 39, and being
lot No. 20, of the Sheffield and Smith
Subdivision of a tract of land con
veyed by Carnation Company to D.
Lester Smith, and described by
metes and bounds as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at a stake in the North
edgeot Sanders Alley, North of the L
4, A Railroad, at a point 108 feet of
the East edge of Carter Street, SE
corner ot Lot No. 21 of said sub
division,
Thence North 90 feet to a stake,
the SW corner of Lot No. 24;
Thence East 50 feet to a stake, the
Sf corner of Lot No. 24, and the NW
corner of Lot No. 19,
Thence South with the WB line of
Lot No. 19,100 feet to a stake, in the
North edge of Sanders Alley;
Thence West with the NB line of
said Alley, 49 feet to the place ot
beginning.
Being the same land as described
in a Deed from John M Sheffield
and D. Lester Smith to Libbie
Johnson dated October 26, 1945, and
ot record in Vol. 156, page 594, of th'e
Deed Records of Hopkins County,
Texas.
Being Lot No. 20, Block No. 487400
ot the City of Sulphur Springs,
Hopkins County, Texas,
And I will on the first Tuesday in
the month of March, 1980, the same
being the 4th day of the month,
proceed to sell all the right, title and
interest of the Defendants in and to
said property at the Courthouse door
of said County in the City or Town of
Sulphur Springs between the hours
of 10:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. to the
highest bidder for cash, provided,
however, that none of said property
shall be sold to the owner of said
property directly or indirectly or to
anyone having an interest therein or
to any party other than a taxing unit
which is a party to this suit for less
than the amount ol the adjudged
value of said property or the
aggregate amount ot judgments
against said property in said suit,
whichever Is lower, subject also to
the right of the Defendants to
redeem same in the time and
manner provided by law and subject
