Rua Arthur was dismissed .
from Franklin County Hospital
Monday after spending last
week undergoing tests. He is
home now and doing fine. Mr.
and Mrs. Arthur and Mrs.
Velera loving were in Paris for
Rua to have his medical
checkup. He got good reports
from his doctors.
Mr. and Mrs. Red Ward and
Miss Cathey Turner of Mount
Vernon visited Mr. and Mfs.
Pat McAfee Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Mays of
Pallas were here Sunday and
reported that his mother, Mrs.
Mayflower Mays was doing
very well after surgery on her
injured leg.
Paul Carr and Ioy Orren
were in Pickton Friday for E.A.
work in the Masonic lodge.
Mrs. Jewel Penn visited Mrs.
Cora Hogan in Franklin County
Hospital Saturday. Mrs. Penn
and Mrs. Velmer Flowers
visited Mrs. Callie Payne
Wednesday night in Sulphur
Springs.
Mr. and Mrs. R. B. McAfee
visited Mr. and Mrs. Jerry
Higgins in Longview Wed-
nesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ixiy Orren
visited Mr. and Mrs. Joe
Cowser in Winnsboro Monday.
Eldon F. Hatchell Sr. 66, died
of a heart attack Saturday. He
and Mrs. Hatchell had been
here at their mobile home for a
few days, they had started
back to their home in Dallas
’ when he suffered the attack He
was carried to Franklin County
Hospital, where he died at 9:15
a.m. Mr. Hatchell was bom in
Saltillo in 1913 to J.H. and Nellie
Hill Hatchell. He married the
former Helen Burns in Saltillo.
Mr. and Mrs. Hatchell had
resided at 7334 Margino Drive
Tn Dallas for several years.
Sifrvivors include his wife,
three son.^ Pat, Steve - and
Mike; one daughter, Gwen-
dolyn- Kidd; a brother, Carol
Hatchell of Tuscaloosa, Ala ;
and two sisters, Mrs.* Glen
Armstrong of Sulphur Springs
and Mrs, Magalyn McClure of
Winnsboro, He was buried in
Dallas Monday

Skelly visited Mrs. Sue Foster

brother-in-law, Eldon Hatchell,
in Dallas Monday.

' Act of Texak, hereby gives nbtice of the Com-
pany's intent to implement^new schedules of
electric service rates in areas served by the
Company," effective Febryary 8,-1980. or as soon
thereafter as permitted by law.
The rate schedules will result in a 15.35 per
cent increase in the gross revenues of Texas
Power & Light Company.
