Trustees of the Sulphur
Springs Independent School
District at their 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday meeting are scheduled
to recognize the top honor
graduates, Deneen Reynolds
and Ricky Deaton, before
moving into a business agenda
covering a variety of topics.
The administration will ask
for the adoption of a policy
setting up guidelines for use of
buses by non-school groups.
They also are expected to
authorize the sale of excess
Summer school guidelines
will be considered, an overview
of the athletic program is
scheduled, and a discussion of
the Blue Blazes * uniforms is
planned.
The trustees are expected to
approve out-of-district student
transfers and hear two
proposals concerning use of
school playgrounds during the
summer.
A request from Hopkins
County Fall Festival officials
will be heard concerning the
proposed use of school grounds
for a new hay hauling contest.
The trustees will receive
three teacher resignations and
will be asked to confirm the
employment of two teachers.
The names of at least two
substitute teachers will be
submitted for addition to the-
list.
Tax credits and supplements
will be handled, financial
statements considered, and
bills authorized for payments.

New officers tor the Sulphur Springs High School 1980-81 Student Council were formally installed
during a reception attended by about 40 persons last week. From left are Suzy Burney, reporter;
Debbie Williams, secretary treasurer; Jeff Orwosky, president; and Shawn Brewer, vice
president. Orwosky and Miss Burney will be seniors in the fall and both Miss Williams and Brewer
will be juniors.
