Xi Alpha Beta Eta sorority
celebrated Halloween at its regular
meeting Monday, with all members
attending in costume at the home of
Lea Ann Lord.
Games were played, including
seek and find, word search, a maze
game and an opening ntual puzzle.
Prizes were awarded the first place
finisher.
Costumes worn by members
were judged by Audra Tarver, w ho
judged Nelda Hams first. Lea Ann
Lord second and Nanci Koedyker
third.
During the business meeting,
president Twila Caffey reported on
the sorority’s upcoming service
project and also gave a report on
the Soroijty City Council of Hobbs
They had extended an invitation to
the Seminole chapter to attend a
preferential tea held this past
Sunday. Oct. 27.
Mrs. Lord was hostess for the
meeting and the table was covered
with an orange and white cloth, w ith
Halloween bears sitting on the
table. Orange plates and Halloween
cups were also used
• Refreshments consisted of
pumpkin-shaped sandw iches. chips
and dip. a vegetable tray, tortilla
roll-ups, banana bread, pumpkin
roll, soft dnnks and tea.
In addition to those already
mentioned, members attending
were. Linda Norns, Cathey Hams.
