GLANCE -
by Ranette Wood
Many times, as high school
students, wo allow our daily
lives to be run by our .fellow-
classmates. Wre often strive to
meet those standards which they
set up instead of those we know
are right.
It has beensaid that it is
natural for each of us, because
wo are human beings, to pattern
our lives after someone whom we
think is greater or better than
we are.
There is someone looking at
each of us even though wo may
not know it. It is a daily task
for us to keep our lives in tip-
lap shape for just such people.
For just this minute, stop
and ask yourself this question,
"Would my life be a fit example
for someone to pattern his life
by?" If you can truthfully ans-
wer yes to this question you arc
all right, but if you must ans-
wer no to it, perhaps you should
re-examine your life and make a
greater effort to do bettor.
The Country Parson once said,
"Trying to live a good life is
like trying to catch a train; it
only counts when you do it."
