in Wnrren Procter -who waB
credited with the win I
"Bartlett took the lead 3 to o
in the first inning and adding 1 j
run in the second making it
4-0 Bartlett then committed
too many errors allowing Jar-
i rcll to go ahead 5-4. Then Jar
rell held Bartlett scoreless
while scoring 12 runs in one
big inning making it 17-4 for
Jarrell.
Bartlett made a great effort
to pull the game out in their
last at bat scoring 7 runs but
the effort fell miort with gamo
ending in favor of Jarrell 17-11.
Bartlett out hit Jarrell 12-6
but errors and overconfidenco
seemed to hurt Bartlett's play-
ing ability as the Bartlett
players were looking ahead to
playing Salado to try to average
an earlier loss in Salado.
