Sweeps Plan!
Belton, Mar. 15 (F—-Damage is
estimated at $40,000 to $50,000
from a fire which swept through
the Texas Rock Wool Corporation
plant outside Belton late yester-
day.
Firemen battled the flames for
more than 12 hours. Belton fire
Chief Jack Gulloch says a lack of
water pressure at the plant out-
side the city limits hampered the
fire-fighters.
The company’s president, Oliv-
er Gould, says the loss consists
principally of sacks and Other ma-
terials used at the plant.
