Meets Monday In

Members of the school board
of the Bartlett Independent
School District mot Monday
night for their regular monthly
meeting.
Board members approved a
survey Ipstrument to be sent to
"parents students and teachers
in order to help establish educa-
tional goals for school accredi-
tation purposes.

Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Friedrich
celebrated their 25th wedding
anniversary Saturday night
with a barbecue supper and
daniie at the American Legion
Hall in Bartlett.
Tho couple were married on
Dec. 12 1952 in St. John Lu-
theran Church in Bartlett by
the Rev. Walter-O. Probst. They
have resided near Bartlett for
the past 23 years. They have
two sons Lynn Roy and Terry

Bartlett boys lost their open-
ing game to Manor Junior Var-
sity by a score of 4C-38. In their
second game Bartlett boys de
feated Smithfion Valley 48-37
and then defeated Hays 58-13.
Bartlett girls defeated Manor
Junior Varsity 80-26 in the op-
oning game then lost to Dripp-
ing Springs 37-28 and lost their
third game to Hays 44-38 in
overtime.

Sent To Parents
In.School District
Supt. Travis Smith announc-
ed this week that parents' in
the Bartlett Independent School
District will bo reccivirig" forms
'which they are being requested
'to complete and re'turn to tho
uncrintendpnt's office. The
forms' will be sent out within
the next few days. '
This form has been designed
by the Central Management
Committee and is the first required-step
in the school accre-
ditation process.
After the forms ard returned
the results will be tabulated and
goals will be established.
Tho school accreditation pro-
cedures have chang&d and this
is the process by which all
Schools in Texas will bo accredi-
ted in the future.
Parents arc requested to com-
plete tho forms and return them
to the school office as soon as
possible.
