of the City of Sulphur Springs,
Texas, the City Manager has
heretofore submitted to the
Mayor and City Cotnmissicip,
a Budget estimate of the rev-
enues of the City and the ex-
penses deducted for the oper-
ation of the affairs thereof,
for the fiscal year ending
March 31, 1960, and prorating
from the advalorem taxes the

the other this morning.
Last night a lone gunman
entered t h e Safeway super-
market in River Oaks just as
closing time. The thug, arm-
ed with a snub nose pistol,
arrived just as the manager
and several employes were
leaving for the night. He hustl-
ed them back into the store,
obtained what t h e man:
termed a “considerable amoun
of cash,” ripped out two tele-
phones, and ' fled. His get-a
ravine in West Pakistan.

Section III. It is not the
purpose of this ordinance to
establish a^t this time the tax-
able values of property, such
yalues to be established later
by a Board of Equalization
composed of members 'to be
appointed by the Chairman of
the City Commission with the
approval, of the entire Com-
mission. (See Section 22 of
the City Charter of the City
of Sulphur Springs, Texas.)

signed to join the faculty of
Austin College at Sherman in

He is Dr. I.eo L. Nussbaum,
dean oi liberal arts and asso-
ciate protessor of education
and psychology at t h e Iowa
school. He will hold a similar
position at Austin College.
The resignation is effective
late in August.
Dr. Nussbaum is a graduate
of Ball State Teachers College
in Muncie, Ind., and received
a doctor of philosophy degree
at Northwestern University.
