For parties or after-school get-togethers, try these glamorized,
wholesome drinks* ,
Chocolate Milk-Coconat JFIfat ( Servos 6)
Three cups chocolate milk,' 1 pint French vanilla ice cream, 3-4
cup grated fresh coconut, toasted; 2-3 cup coconut milk, 1-2 teaspoon
Manilla, 1-2 cup heavy cream, whipped.
Freeze 2 cups chocolate milk until mushy. Soften ice cream.
Reserve 2 tablespoons coconut; fold remaining coconut into ice cream
and freeze.
Combine coconut milk, vanilla and frozen chocolate milk. Fill
glasses 2-3 full with frozen chocolate milk mixture. Add scoop of
coconut ice cream. Fill glasses with remaining chocolate milk. Top
With whipped cream and reihilhing toasted coconut. (Beverage may
be served in edeonut shells, if desired.) '
Coffee-Cream Chocolate Milk (Serve* 6)
One-half cup sugar, 1-2 cup water, 1-4 cup ground coffee, 1 pint
Vanilla ice cream, 1 quart chocolate milk.
Combine sugar, water and coffee. Heat to boiling point, stirring
until Sugar is dissolved. Cook l minutes over low heat
Strain and cool. Combine ice cream and coffee syrup, using elec-
tric beater or rotary beater.
Beat until foamy. Add chocolate milk and mix well.
