Fruitvale church offers
life of Jesus drive-through
First Baptist Church of Fruitvale is inviting the community to a drive-
through experience “celebrating the birth, death and resurrection of
Jesus” from 7 to 9 p.m. Dec. 21 and 22 at the church, 181 VZCR 1910.
The event is free and can be viewed “from the comfort of your own
vehicle,” organizers said.

Austin Bank recently honored Van
employee Scott Moseley for his out-
standing work and years of service
with the company. He, along with
55 others, was recognized at the
bank’s 2013 Service
Award Luncheon held
Dec. 11 at the Willow
Brook Country Club in
Tyler.
“We are proud of all
these employees be-
cause they work as a
team serving our
friends, neighbors and
the businesses located
here in East Texas,” said
Austin Bank Vice Chair-
man Jeff Austin III.
“They are the key to our
bank’s success. Each one takes pride
in what tasks they handle in their job;
and at the same time these employ-
ees continually strive to provide ex-
cellent service to our bank custom-
ers.”

nized Austin Bank employees who
completed five, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30,
35 and 45 years of service in 2013.
The honored group of 56 employees
makes up a combined
total of 610 years of ex-
perience.
Recognized for his 15
years of service to the
bank, Moseley holds the
position of location
president in the Van of-
fice. A graduate of Van
High School, he at-
tended Tyler Junior Col-
lege and graduated from
the University of Texas
at Tyler. A longtime
resident of Van, Moseley
and his wife, Tressia, have two sons
and two daughters. Active in the lo-
cal community, he is a member of
the Van Chamber of Commerce and
Kiwanis, and is a committee partici-
pant with the Van Economic Devel-
opment Council.
