Dear Sir—In response to youi
request of June 29, the cotton boll
weevils have been tested for arse-
nic in the laboratory of this division.
The chemist haying the analysis
in charge reports a very slight re-
action for arsenic by the Marsh

Respectfully,
E. E. Ewell,
Acting Chief of Division.
