law on Election Tickets
Wo print below a letter with regard
to tho law and rules required on print-
ing tickets for general election in No-
vember written by Capt Goo T Todd
It is riB follows
Dear Sir and Brother
Tho Attorney General has ruled on
the matter of National electors and State
officers as to getting and paying for
tickets Official ballots
1 These ballots will be sent to each
County Clerk in the State from Austin
Sec 90 Terrell Law
2 The Coinmiseioners Court will pro-
vide and pay for having the ballots
printed with the names of all candidates
for Electors Governor etc where no
county candidates are running in any
county If any party runs county can-
didates then the Executive Committee
of the party running such county can-
didates haB to pay for the printing in
that county Sec 756
As the Populist party has no county
ticket in this county Marion and
perhaps none in Morris your Commis-
sioners court will have to pay for
printing the Populist electors and can
didates for state officers on the official
ballot
Truly your friend
