FOLLETT HIGH SCHOOL
CHEERLEADERS
ATTEND WORKSHOP
Diane Trenfield, Carol
Kliewer, Frankie Ann
Kunka, and Diana Terrel
attended a Cheerleaders
Workshop at Norman, Okla-
homa, July 21 to July 26.
There were over 500
girls from Arkansas, Kan-
sas, Nebraska, New Mexico
Oklahoma, and Texas
attending this school.
In the mornings the girls
participated in workshops
and had free time in the
afternoons. The evenings
were spent practicing yells
and going through their yell
routines.
Thursday night the Fol-
let team placed 3rd in
their division. This divi-
sion had 14 groups in it,
and they were made up of
four or five cheerleaders,
to each group. The girls
felt pretty proud of this
accomplishment and plan
to have many good yells for
the Pep Club this year.
Mr. and Mrs. Tommy
Terrel took the girls to
Norman and Mrs. John
Trenfield and George re-
turned them home.
