Mr. Wallace is
coaching the seventh
and eighth grade girls
in volleyball. They
won their first game
against Jacksboro.

Mrs.Byers’ students
made maps and d&mrated
covers for their note-
books for Public School
Week,

Mrs. Brothers’ room
has been thinking about
themes for fire pre-
vention posters. The
teacher brought several
posters that had been
collected from previous
years.
FOURTH GRADE
The students in Mrs.
Wallace’s fourth grade
TiOTe been experimenting
with foods. Several
brought different types
of food to class with
them so they could fi.nd
out if the food con-
tained starch. If the
food turned black when
iodine was applied, it
contained starch._

junior high. Thirty-seven
made all A's and sixty-
three made no grade lower

English. She gave them
a test over adjectives
and adverbs. Mrs.
Coly gave them three
words(cupboard,carpen-
ter, and repaired).
They had to add adjec-
tives and adverbs to
modify the words. She
said she was going to
give the same test to
her students at Mid-
western.______

in Geography,and draw-
ings of the body, made
in science, were put
up around the room.
The class has sev-
eral girls in Biddy
