position in the Labor Day parade and
all who wish to enter are especially
urged to send in their names at once
as the placing of ail entering the pa-
rade will occasion much work The

Labor Day celebration will be held to-
night at S30 oclock and the differ-
ent chairmen aie requested to be at
Swifts Store at that time This is an
important meeting and should fce at-
tended by those who have a part of
the celebration to be worked up

hundred children who attend the va-
rious Sunday schools of the city in

Yesterday at the home of her pa-
rents Mr and Mrs Tim Photopoulis
No 10 Reagan street Mary the six
yearold daughter died after a few
dajs of intense agony caused by a fall
from a swing at tne home The fall
resulted in a broken back
Interment took place today at 11
oclck at East Hill cemtery The lit-
tle girl was playing at the time she
was injured and fell from the swing
in such a way as to break her back
Physicians were called in but thej
icalized from the first that it was a
helpless case and eveiytlnng pos-
sible was done to relive her suffering
Mr Photopoulis is a shoe maker
with a shop on Main street

ning Good Pictures Tonight
The management says
Huegel and Taylor comedy singing
acrobats scored a big hit at the Air
dome last night Their work is away
from anj thing seen here before on
the vaudeville stage Mr Huegel kept
the house convulsed in laughter with
his comedy stunts Miss Taylor has a
sweet voice and makes a pretty stage
appearance
Tonight Saved By the Flag will
be the feature film projected on the
picture screen It is a drama of tho
power of the stars and stripes in com-
manding the respect of other nations
Wilsons Wifes Countenance a good
comedy picture will also be exhibited

Bought By Messrs Lloyd and
Will Bailey For 9300
Yesterday Trustee Bonner of the
Dobbs bankruptcy agreed to proceed
with the sale of the stock of furniture
and accounts as advertised after a
day spent in conten es withthe
creditors and Messrs Eloyd anaVVi
Bailey were the successful bidders
they buying the stock and accounts for
9300
It is understood these gentlemen
will conduct the business They are
both experienced furniture men and
were in daj s past engaged in the busi-
ness here Mr Lloyd Bailey is a son
of the late Mr Frank Bailey who was
in the furniture business here for
many years while Mr Will Bailey is
the well known traveling salesman
and who was also at one time with Mr
Frank Bailey in the conduct of his
furniture business
Mr Bonner the trustee returned to
Tyler today and as soon as the sale
meets the approval of the referee and
as soon as the necessary court formal-
ities are complied with the house will
again open for business under the
new management

Miss Pauline Langham were united in
the holy bonds of wedlock the writer

Bennie is one of Elkharts most
promising young men He is at pres-
ent clerking for the firm of DuPuy
Weatherford which position he has
held for quite a while We do not
know of a more highly esteemed
young man anywhere
The bride is one of Elkharts most
charming young ladies and comes I
from one of the nicest families of An
derson county Miss Pauline is in-
deed a credit to her parents and
might they well be proud of her I

make Elkhart their future home i
where their many friends will call

Mr S M Curtiss the proprietor and
director of the Curtiss Comedy com-
pany which opens a weeks engage-
ment at the Airdome Monday night
Rastus celebrated his fifteenth anni-
versary in Corsicana last week and
according to all reports he is enjoying
thsbest of health and s about as 1
lively as upon his former visit Ue
