law enforcement center to meet with
a complainant in reference to tires
being cut on her vehicle the day
—before In the 700 Mock of Southeast
Duff.
A report was taken and
invcsugalion is underway.
1/28-Officcrs were notified that
three runaways were seen in
Seminole.
OfTiccrs located the juveniles at the
Seminole city park and took custody
of them, contacted their parents and
placed them with a Seminole resident
at the request of the parents.
1/28-A complainant in the 2000
block of Northwest 8* Street told
police (hat an act of criminal mischief
had occurred at the location.
Officers made a report and
investigation is underway.
1/29-While on patrol, officers
stopped a vehicle in the 200 block of
Northwest 7th Street for traffic
violations.
Officers identified the driver and
passenger and ran a wanted check on
both.
The check revealed the passenger
in the vehicle, identified as Dale
Wynne, 20, of Hobbs, had an
outstanding warrant from the Gaines
County Sheriff s Office. Wynne was
arrested and booked into the Gaines
County Jail.
1/KL-While on patrol, officers
stopped a vehicle in the 1500 block
of North Main for traffic violations.
A routine check of the driver’s
license revealed that the license was
under suspension. The suspension
will be confirmed with the
Department of Public Safely and
upon confirmation, a case will be
filed with the Gaines County
Attorney.

Gaines County Sheriff’s officers are currently investigating two incidents
of vandalism to farm machinery that occurred the weekend of Sept. 7-10 several
miles southeast of Seagraves.
One of the incidents involved damage to three spray rigs, while the other involved
damage to a spray rig, a tractor and a Toyota pickup
The victims of the vandalism are offering a $500 reward, while Crime
Stoppers will pay up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to the
perpetrators of the crime.

Gaines County Sheriff s officers are currently investigating the theft of two
tractors from F&R farms, located 15 miles southwest of Seminole.
The implements were taken either late the night of Dec. 5 or early in the morning
of Dec. 6.
The tractors taken were a John Deere 8210 and a John Deere 8300.

Gaines County Sheriff s officers are currently investigating a bam burglary
at a location 10 miles northeast of Seminole on County Road 116.
Reported taken were two saddles, a roping saddle, a trophy roping saddle,
bridles and tack. Total value of the stolen merchandise is $4,852.
The theft reportedly occurred the evening of Jan. 4, 2002.
