This is Public School Week
and you are invited to PTA
meeting on Thursday evening
at 7:30 in the High School
Auditorium.
Mr. Bob Thompson presents
the program which involves
students of all grades. Open
house will follow in both ele-
mentary and high school.
Mrs. Jack Callaway an-
nounced that a district meet-
ing will be held in Denison
on April 18-20. If interested
in going, see her for particu-
lars. The Howe PTA helped
to pay for the “risers" for the
Choral Club as its project
for this year.

your school s doing.
SESAME CLUB
The Howe Sesame Club held
its Texas Day Luncheon at
Holiday Inn in Sherman Tues-
day. Mrs. C. C. Jones was
presented, in review of “This
is Texas.” The luncheon table
was centered with an arrange-
ment of yellow chrysanthe-
mums and place cards were
Texas flags with the Texas
insigna and state flower. Pla-
ces were laid for sixteen
members The next-meeting
will be a covered dish luncheon
to be held in the Community
Room of the Howe State Bank
on March 15. T^e club has
been invited by the Van Al-
styne Culture Club to be their
guests on March 17th.

CLUB MEETING
The Howe Sewing Club met
recently with Mrs. Richard
Armstrong and quilted a quilt
and had a covered dish lunch-
eon. The next meeting will
be March 16th at Mrs. J E.
Malone’s for an all day meet-
ing and covered dish lunch.
