A most entertaining, educa-
tional and helpful chapel pro-
gram was given by the fourth,
fifth, and sixth grades Thursday
morning under the direction of
Mrs. E. L. Collins,
The speaker was Noble T-
Lee of Sherman, who talked on
the proper use of the flag in
decoration and display, the days
on which it should be flown, the
obligation and respect Ameri-
cans- have toward it, and gave
a brief history.
The cremation of an old and
worn flag was carried out by
four Boy Scouts. The climax of
the program came in the salute
and the oath of allegiance to
the flag.

Social Security . . .
. . . And You
Anyone who is at least 65
should apply for social security
benefits, according to Gus Jones
Social Security Ma'nager,
r‘Some social security benefits
may be payable even if you
haven’t retired since there is a
sliding scale built into the social
security retirement test. Al-
though all monthly benefits are
usually paid only to those whose
yearly earnings are $1680 or
less, some benefits may be paid
to those having higher earnings.
The only way to be sure you
won’t lose money due you is to
establish your eligibility for
benefits by completing an appli-
cation submitting the necessary
evidence oi your age and
earnings.
Since there is no reduction in
the monthly benefit amount for
those applying at age 65, there
is no risk of losing money by
filing an application at that age,

Then, there’s that once a month
when a girl could use a good old-fashioned
medicine.
Maybe you feel just plain bad then. Or
maybe a little lonely and sad, like you could use a pair o£
arms around you.
Well, we have just the thing for this once a
month time.,Lydia E. Pinkham. Tablets. They re made with
gentle, natural ingredients, including one that works to help
relax tightened muscles that give you cramps. Plus a little ^
iron that a girl could use at a time like this. And, you don t
run any chance of the kind of unpleasant side effects you
could get from some of the newer drugs.
With an oH-fashioned problem like this*
couldn’t you take an old-fashioned medicine.
