The Boys League team of
Howe played exebition games
With Gunter Friday and Sat-
urday nights, Gunter winning
both games.
First game: The visitors
got a run in the first inning
but Howe came back in their
half of the inning with four
runs including a three run
homerun by catcher Cody.(
The second inning
team scored and it looked as
if we were in for a good bail
game. But in the fourth in-
ning the roof fell in on Howe
and from then on it was a
runaway for Gunter. Final
pcore Gunter 12, Howe 5.
Second game: We did not
get there but we understand
the score was 3-2 for Gunter.
