Waco are delighted with tho prospects for
several railroad connections which rIio
promise of a micccss at once Thu sur-
veying rorps of tho Oult and Ilrnzos Val-
ley Hallroid tojnpany hale completed their
survey to a point within twelve miles of
tbo city nnd will finish this week This
Is a now railroad enterprise which was
only Inaugurated a short tlmo ago but
tho promoters have pushed the work and
tho uiney has now been mado from
llcam at tho crossing of tho Houston and
Texas Central and International and
Great Northern to a point otto mile from
Norwood on the San Antonio and Aransas
Pass tweho miles south of Waco Tho
line enters tho lltuos bottom near the
LiOWIs plantation a few miles from Hcarne
and runs up the rher on tho east side

ing about two miles wot ot Marlln aud

Ilajou creek Thence the purioy runs
straight toward Waco passing nlong par-
allel with tho San Antonio and Aratxai

from Waco tomorrow and will make a
suney to Heads prairie fortyfite miles
east from Witii While this work Is being
done the route from that point to Sabine
Pass will be elected aid tho stiricy will
bo pushed on The route to Heads prairie
has been practically vettled and It patsca
