Ms. Tonya Michele
Hope is a junior at
Texas Lutheran College
in Seguin, and a
communication arts major.
Tonya recently
assisted Dr. Jon Berry”
in directing job, and she
received many flowers
and cards of
congratulations on a job
well done.
She debuted in
the summer for the last
five years, she has
worked as a counselor
for the MDA camp, and
Tonya is the secretary
for the Black Student
Union at TLC. She is a
1985 graduate of East
Central High School.

"Cinderella" playing a
leading part, the fairy
godmother, Seguin
School Children were
treated to a preview,
and Tonya was one of
their favorite
characters. The children
were spellbound by the
fairy godmother.
Tonya was also in "My
Fair Lady" a successful
musical that played to a
sold out crowd in the
new Jackson Auditorium
on campus. Her
aspiration is to become
a broadcast journalist.

Texas State Technical Institute (TSTI) is a State supported system
of four campuses offering technical and vocational postsecondary
training for which there is a demand in Texas. The instructional pro-
grams cover a broad range of pursuits, including Laser-Optics, Com-
puter Science, and Biomedical Equipment Technology.
In order to expand the pool of minority applicants for positions on
the TSTI faculty and in administration, the institute is establishing
