Gen. Barry McCaffrey (retired) Center, Director of the White House's
Office of National Drug Control Policy, spoke with 12 representatives from
different agencies collaborating with San Antonio Fighting Back. The
group told McCaffrey about the different programs each is involved with
San Antonio Fighting Back to reach their goal of reducing the demand fpr
alcohol and illegal substances. McCaffrey sits between Beverly Watts

San Antonio Fighting Back is a comprehensive community improvement and
revitalization program of the United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County and the
Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. San Antonio Fighting Back promotes and
encourages the efforts of neighborhoods to free themselves, their families and their
communities from the devastating effects of substance abuse, crime and violence.
