which had been transformed into a

Bright as the the 1993 Queen of
Hearts. Her Royal Majesty was
attended by Princess La Tonya
Hunter, Duchess Kaiahwch Miller,
and Duchess Sheri I rembles.

Arielle Stevenson, IXon Sapenter

Captain Dennis CrimicT of

California "Fun in
the Sun Weekend"
set for July
San Antonians in California
members are making plans for their
“Fun in the Sun” weekend to be held
July 9-11 in I xis Angeles, California.
The weekend is being sponsored by
San Antonians in California (Oddie
V. Satterfield, president) and the
Phillis Wheatley Alumni Association
(Patricia Harri, president).
The headquarters for the event is
the Red Lion Hotel in Culver City,
California. Reservations may be
made by calling toll-free 1-800-541-
7888. Hotel is $69 per day.
The event begias with a social hour
on Friday, July 9. On Saturday, a
Maroon and Gold dinner dance will
take place,j <t picnic will be held on
Supday. There will be a Las Vegas
Turnaround Trip on Monday, July 12.
The cost is $10.
Tickets for the entire reunion
weekend are S60, which includes all
activities Friday, Saturday, and
Sunday.
Advance purchase is necessary
and the deadline is June 1. Checks
