MONTGOMERY COUNTY COLORED
TEACHERS MSTITOTE TO MBf
The Montgomery County Colored Teachers' Institute
is hereby called to meet in the Colored School Building
in Conroe, Texas, Monday, December 16 and to remain in
session the ensuing week.
As shown by the program all teachers will be given
an opportunity for work, and any teacher refusing to take an
active part in the work as laid out will subject himself to
non-payment for the week, and will also be reported as an
indifferent teacher. I have called the Institute to meet at
Conroe, as it was not held at the time and place agreed upon
by the teachers last year.
I have recently taken over the office of County Super*
intendent and feel that I can best serve the interests of the
school by being at the office during the sessions of the Insti-
tute. Come prepared for a week of honest, earnest work.
Very Truly,
- m
J. T. TERRY.
