TO THE RESIDENT QUALIFIED
VOTERS OF SAN GABRIEL RIVER
WATER CONTROL AND IMPROVE-
MENT DISTRICT NO. 1 OF WIL-
LIAMSON, BURNET, AND MILAM
COUNTIES,
TAKE NOTICE that an election will
be held on the 9th day of January,
1962, within said District for the
purpose of electing six directors, in
obedience to an order duly entered by
the Board of Directors of said Dist-
rict on the 16th day of October, 1961,
which is as follows:
WHEREAS, it is now necessary and
proper that this Board of Directors
call an election for the purpose of
electing six directors for said Water
Control and Improvement District, in
accordance with the laws of the State
of Texas; and
WHEREAS, by resolution approved
by the Board of Directors of San
Gabriel River Water Control and Im-
provement District No. 1 of William-
son, Burnet and Milam Counties,''the
Directors by order duly made and
entered have combined the hereinafter
described election precincts as set and
used for the state and national elec-
tions into the following election, pre-
cincts :

Texas, Georgetown, is composed of the
following precincts and parts of pre-
cints within the boundary of said
District, to-wit:

trol and Improvement District No. 1
of Williamson and Milam Counties for
the election of two directors for said
District is hereby given as follows:
“A RESOLUTION AND ORDER BY
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
BRUSHY CREEK WATER CON-
TROL AND IMPROVEMENT DIST-
RICT NO. 1 OF WILLIAMSON AND
MILAM COUNTIES CALLING AN
ELECTION ON JANUARY 9, 1962
FOR THE PURPOSE OF ELECTING
TWO DIRECTORS FOR SAID
DISTRICT
WHEREAS, it is necessary under
applicable law that there be held a
general election ' in the District on
January 9, 1962, for the purpose of
electing two directors for said District,
the < aforesaid date being the second
Tuesday in January.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
AND ORDERED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF BRUSHY CREEK
WATER CONTROL AND IMPROVE-
MENT DISTRICT NO. 1 OF WIL-
LIAMSON AND MILAM COUNTIES:
Section 1: That an election shall be
and the same is hereby ordered to be
heid on the 9th day of January, 1962,
in Brushy Creek Water Control and
Improvement District No. 1 of William-
son and Milam Counties for the pur-
pose of electing two directors to
the board of Directors of said District.
Section 2: That said election shall
be held and conducted in accordance
with the laws of the State of Texas
for holding general elections for State
and County officers except as herein
otherwise provided. All persons who,
are resident qualified electors of the
District shall be entitled to vote.
Section 3: The following named per-
sons having duly filed as candidates
for said election with the Secretary
of ihe Board of Directors of the Dist-
rict in accordance with applicable law
and their names shall be placed on
the ballot for said election in alpha-
betical order as follovyS;:

The ballots for said election shall
be prepared in sufficient number and
in conformity with Chapter 6, V.A.T.S ,
Election Code.
Section 4: The polling places and
election officers for said election shall
