Doan’s Kidney Pills make last-
Ing cures.
Cuero people testify.
Here's one case of it:
Mrs. Louis Ley,, living at 509
Main street, Cnero, Texas, says:
’‘Shortly after Doan’s Kidney Pills
cared me I gave a testimonial
recommending them. I can now
confirm that statement, as I have
never had a return of my trouble.
Kidney complaint in my case was
a result of a severe cold which I
contracted. I suffered a great deal
from severe pains in my back, was
weak and could not sleep well at
nigbt. My mother had been cured
of a similar trouble by Doan’s
Kidney Pills and deciding to try
them I procured a box at the Cnero
Drug Co. I was cured promptly
and effectively as no symptom of
my complaint has ever returned.
I feel certain that my enre is a
perment one.”

The Tent Meeting.
The attendance at the tent meet-
is increasing and the interest is
Ewarming up. Wednesday ni^ht
be evangelist, Mr. Fitzgerald,
preached on the fall oi Jericho and
the taking of the city by the people
of Israel,
Mr. Fitzgerald said there
two sides to the proposition.
th*
after it is granted them. He said
there were two things necessary for
man to have and these were un-
wavering confidence in God and
loving obedience to his will.
He said if the people were will-
ing to do what God wanted them
to do there would be no question
that the meeting wonld be success-
ful. That Cnero might be shaken
from center to circumference if only
the people would trust and obey.
Last night Mr. Fitzgerald preach-
ed on the difference that may ex-
ist between a church member and
a Christian. His subject was
‘‘False Hopes” and he presented it
in #very forceful and able style.
There were few who had not some
new idea£ on the subject when he
concluded. His arraignment of
the church member who used the
membership as a cloak was very
severe. He said men who were
slaves to sin were not free any
more than were the Jews who
boasted to the Savior that they
were iree at the time the Roman,
flag was flying over the Temple
and Roman soldiers were marching
up and down the streets of Jeru-
salem every day. He said the
church was to blame for taking in
members who had never had a
change of heart, whose lives had
never been touched by the spirit of
Christ.
His strong deliverances were
endorsed by many and many were
set to thinking as they had never
thought before.
The solo by Mr. Spence, ‘‘Un-
answered Yet” was very beantifnl
and impressive.
