W WHY DON'T YOU ?
A letter from the Herring-Curtis
Co. of New York, manufacturers of
motors for aeroplanes, has been re-
ceived by Prentice A. Newman,
builder and inventor of theBrowns-
ville aeroplane, stating that the
motor ordered by Mr. Newman for
his machine will be completed and
shipped in time for it to be installed
In the aeroplane by the first of July
in time for the flights to be made
during the celebration. Mr. New-
man has overhauled the central
frame work of his aeroplane, so
that the machine is greatly
strengthened, besides making it
lighter by about 100 pounds.—
