The monthly comprehensive
diagnostic and screening pub-
lic health clinic for Kalin
County citizens will be con-
ducted at the gytmailuni of
the Rains School In Emory on
Nov. 8, between tile hours of
2 and 8 p. in. The clinic will
be devoted exclusively to the
Administration of the twine
flu vaccine.
The bivalent vaccine which
Is the combined swine Influen-
za strain and A/Victoria strain
will be administered to all
persons age 65 and over and
to all chronically 111 persons
age 3 through 64. Those chron-
ically 111 persons age 3 through
64 must present a statement
from a private physician in-
dicating a chronic illness and
recommending that the biva-
lent vaccine be administered.

ing of her beloved Rains County. The exhibit was of rare pho.o-
graphs of Texas and Texans from the 1870's to the 1930's.There
were tome 360-degree panoramic photographs by the San An-
tonio photographer, E. O, Go Id beck, as well as photo docu-
ments of the Trans-Pecoi country by W. D. Smlthers, The ex-

have their 2nd annual banquet
on Tuesday, Dec, 7, 1976 at

The Emory Lions Club will
present an award to the out-
standing citizen of Rains Coun-
ty at this banquet. Last year
the outstanding citizen's
award was won by our beloved
"Dr." Booker Nix.
Tickets ft* the banquet will
cost $3.00 per person. Lion
Club members will be contact-
ing the community during the
next few weeks selling these
tickets.
We hope liuil out banquet
will be as successful as last
year.
This year selection of the
outstanding citizen will be
made by nominations received
from citizens of our commun-
ity as well as from Lion Club

here. She received broken

when the accident occurred.
