specialize in consulting
homeowners on landscaping of
their property. She would do
drawings of the gardens and
recommend planting material
native to East Texas soil and
weather conditions. She could do
soil testing and is knowledgable
about which trees, shrubs, flowers,
etc. should be placed in proper
locations, for exposure to east, nor-
th winds, etc.
What would make Cindy’s
business somewhat different from
the average landscape company
would be that she would suggest the
best plant material and show the
homeowner how to do the plantings
themselves and thereby save 35
percent or more in the over-all
work. Cindy hopes to have her
business cover the Alto-Rusk area
since there does not seem to be
anything comparable here. With
the completion of my log house in
the country and nothing but coastal
Bermuda and a few roses growing
out there now, I promised Cindy
that I would be her first customer.
It is always nice to have new
families move into our city and A1
and Cindy Stauder are really a
delightful and interesting young
couple. They are big football fans
and hearing about our terrific Alto
Yellowjackets, they said they are
looking forward to seeing the
games once school gets underway.
It lodes like we have two more ar-
dent Yellowjacket fans here in A1
and Cindy Stauder. Welcome to
Alto!
