Cool and Creamy
Frosty whip can be made with
an electric blender or a mixer. Al-
low 1 pint of vanilla ice cream to
stand at room temperature until
soft. Put 1 quart of chilled apple
juice in blender container or mix-
ing bowl. Add ice cream and blend
or beat-'until frothy. Stir in 1/2 cup
of chopped marachino cherries.
Serves 4-6. Top each serving with
a dash of nutmeg.

In Three Communities
Sabin Oral Vaccine be Given Sunday
Sabin oral anti-polio vaccine,
Type III, (will be given in three
communities in the Bonham area
Sunday.
Two of the (communities — Leon-
ard and Wolfe City — are parti-
cipating in the Hunt county pro-
gram and the third — Whitewright
— is participating in the Grayson
county program.
The vaccine center at Leonard
will Ibe located in the Davis clinic
which will Ibe open from 12 noon
until 5 p.m., Dr. James W. Davis
said.
There were 1,600 persons who
received Type I vaccine at the
center in early August and it is
expected that just as many will
Constitution Week
Is Set by Mayor
The week of Sept. 16-22 has been
proclaimed las Constitution Week
in IBonham by Mayor J. C. Ma-
gouirk.
Mayor Magouirk issued the proc-
lamation Saturday and called on
ail citizens of Bonham to display
the flag during the week and to
take part in all activities honoring
the constitution.
The mayor pointed out in his
proclamation that Congress, by
resolution, had set aside Sept. 17
as Constitution Day and a nation-
al holiday.
Mayor Magouirk further said it
was the duty of all citizens to be-
come familiar with all the provi-
sions and safeguards of the con-
stitution, which is the basis of
“our constitutional government.”
He also called on all citizens to
respect and honor the constitu-
tion at all times.

At Whitewright, the vaccine cen-
ter will ibe located on the Dr.
Paul E. Geers clinic and will be
open from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.
More than 2,000 persons received
the Type I vaccine through the
center six weeks ago and it is ex-
pected that just as many will be
on hand to take the vaccine Sun-
day.
The vaccine center at Wolfe
City will be set up in the Wolfe
City hospital and will be in oper-
ation from 12 noon until 5 p.m.
with the period from 3 to 5 p.m.
being set aside for Negroes.
There is no charge for the vac-
cine but persons desiring to do so
may make a contribution of 25
cents to help defray the cost of
the project.

of the Telephone Lodge No. 348,
AF&AM, their wives and invited
guests were honored with a dinner
at the Camp Fellowship dining
lodge Tuesday night. There were 75
persons present for the chicken and
ham dinners.
V. W. Farmer, Worshipful Mas-
ter, gave the welcome and J. M.
Bemethy gave the invocation.
Joe Morrow of Honey Grove,
past District Deputy Grand Master
of District 3, spoke on Masonry —
past and present.
F. D. Moore led the group in a
series of songs.
W. H. Castleberry gave the bene,
diction.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Allison are
managers of Camp Fellowship.
