Drew Allen
Maiden
Drew Allen Maiden, 51,
of Cedar Park, Texas
passed away February 7,
2014. He was the son of
Edrew A. Watts and Dor-
othy Armstrong Maiden.
Drew grew up in Corpus
Christi, Texas with his
mother, adoptive father,
Chuck Maiden and three
Maiden brothers. He was
a long time resident of Ce-
dar Park, Texas, where he
owned and operated Infin-
ity Solutions.
Drew was preceeded in
death by two brothers,
Charles “Little Butch”
Maiden and Lee Alvin
Watts, his father and step-
mother, Edrew and Jo
Watts; and mother and
adoptive father, Dottie and
Butch Maiden.
He is survived by two
brothers, Mark and Matt
Maiden, one sister, Dawn,
many aunts, uncles and
cousins, and a host of
friends.
A memorial service will
be held for him in Corpus
Christi, Texas at a later
date.
A memorial service will
also be held in Bogata, TX
on March 8, 2014.

Frankie Mae Scott Hunt
passed away peacefully on
February 15, 2014 at the
age of 87.
Frankie Hunt was born
on January 2, 1927 in
Reidsville, Georgia to
Charles P. Scott and Lillian
Scott. She was preceded in
death by her husband, Terry
Herman Hunt (1997) and
eldest son, Charles Kenneth
Hunt (1997).
She married Terry Hunt
on June 21, 1946. Frankie
and Terry Hunt began their
married life together in
O’Donnell, Texas. They
later moved to Irving,
Texas and raised their four
children there. They moved
to Reidsville, Georgia for
several years before
returning to retire in
Blossom, Texas. Some of
the happiest years of their
lives together were spent in
Blossom, where they made
many friends.
Frankie was an active
member of the First Baptist
Church in Deport, and was

urday, February 15, 2014 at
Paris Regional Medical

at 11:00am in Morris
Chapel Cemetery. The fam-
ily received friends from 7-
8pm on Monday evening at
the funeral home.
She was bom on August
24, 1949 in Mt. Pleasant,
Texas, the daughter of
George and Louise Primm
Quillantine. She is survived
by her son, Jerry Morris, Jr.
and wife, Stephanie of
Bogata; her daughter,
Chanda Cabrera and hus-
band, Pedro of McKinney;
Grand-daughter, Sloan
Morris of Bogata; Sisters,
Georgia Ann Cooper and
husband, Butch of
Nacogdoches and Brother,
Clyde Quillantine also of
Nacogdoches.

Pattonville, died at her
home on February 14,
2014. Memorial Services
were scheduled for Mon-
day, Febmary 17 at 2:00pm
at Wood Funeral Homes.
She was born in
Clarksville on December
19, 1950 the daughter of
Dale and Freeda Miller
Adams. She was retired
from Paris Jr. College as a
Custodian.
Survivors include her
companion, Lloyd Wilson,
her daughter, Polly Horton
and companion, Byron
Fanches; her mother Freeda
Lee Adams of Detroit;
brothers and sisters, Eliza-
beth Boulware of Irving,
Mary Jim Woods of Emory,
Kenneth O. Adams of
Sumner, and Dorothy Jean
Roberts of Paris; 3 grand-
children: Christopher
Horton, Daniel Smith, and
Kayla Owen.
very fond of her church
family. Throughout her life,
she volunteered as a
Sunday school teacher, a
Cub Scout leader, Camp
Fire Girls leader, a Red
Cross nurse aide and
devoted her life to her
husband and children.
Survivors include
daughter Nancy Hunt
Eason (Michael Saylor);
son Kerry Hunt (Toni
Davis Hunt); daughter Fran
Hunt Moore (Scott Moore,
deceased), and daughter-in-
law Pam Wright Hunt. She
loved her six
grandchildren, five great
grandchildren, and one
great-great-grandchild. She
was loved by a host of
nieces, nephews, and
extended family.
A memorial service will
be held on Saturday,
February 22, 2014 at the
First Baptist Church in
Deport, Texas. Service will
begin at 1:00 pm followed
by lunch in the church
fellowship hall for friends
and family to fellowship.
In lieu of flowers, gifts
may be made to the charity
of your choice, or to the First
Baptist Church, P. O. Box
297 in Deport, Texas.

Mary Alice Westbrook
Enox entered the loving
arms of her Savior on
February 14, 2014, with
Karen, family and friends by
her side. There to welcome
her was her loving Valentine
of fifty-one years, Doc
Enox.
Mary Alice Westbrook
was the last of ten children
born to Robert and Callie
Westbrook of Deport, Texas
on August 1, 1931. She
attended Paris Junior
College, later transferring to
Texas Tech at the coaxing of
her eldest sister. She
graduated with a teaching
degree and landed her first
job in Hobbs, New Mexico.
It was there she met and
married Charles “Doc”
Enox on August 8, 1958.
They were transferred to
Kermit, Texas in 1960,
where she taught at East
Primary and completed 35
years doing what she loved
at Purple Sage school.
Mary and Doc were
blessed with two daughters
in 1963. Kandis was born in
January and Karen in
August. What wonderful
role models they were to
their daughters and the
many 3 year olds they taught
in Sunday School at First
Baptist, Kermit.
Retirement offered them
the opportunity to return to
Mary’s hometown in East
Texas. She loved seeing
extended family, serving at
her church, and
volunteering at Paris
Regional Hospital. She
was Mimi to many and will
be missed by all she loved
on, especially her two
granddaughters.
She was preceded in
death by her parents, four
brothers and five sisters, and
her devoted husband,
Charles Edward Enox.
She will be missed by her
two daughters, Karen Enox
of Deport, Kandis Sanders
and husband Brent Sanders
of Midland, and two
granddaughters, Kelsey and
Katy Sanders. A sister-in-
law, Laverta Westbrook of
DeKalb, her husband’s
siblings, Ailene Payne, Eva
and Eyvan Baker, Pat
Wigington, Garland and
Dorothy Enox, and Don and
Nancy Enox along with
numerous extended family
and friends. What a blessing
you were to all of us, Mimi!
You will live in our hearts
forever.
There was a visitation at
Woods Funeral Home,
Sunday from 4-6 and a
funeral service at 11:00 am
Monday at First Baptist
Church of Deport.

Witherspoon, age 80 of
Pattonville died peacefully,
Febmary 13, 2014 at his
residence.
Funeral services were
held Saturday, Febmary
13,2014 at 11:00am in the
Wood Funeral Home
Chapel in Deport with In-
terment following in High-
land Cemetery under direc-
tion of Wood Funeral
Home. The family gath-
ered an hour prior to the
service to receive friends.
Mr. Witherspoon was
born Oct 25, 1933 in
McCoy (Panola County)
Texas one of three children
born to Martin M and
Gracie Tinkle
Witherspoon. He gradu-
ated from Gary High
School and Panola County
Jr. College in Carthage. On
Jan 29,1943 he married the
former Jimmie Bailey in
Carthage and celebrated
60 years of marriage.
Jarrell was in the Dairy
Queen Business for many
years and later became a
staff and District Manager
for American National In-
surance Co .Upon retire-
ment he moved to
Eatonville where he en-
joyed his garden, yard and
all sports of TV. In his
younger years he was a
good basketball player and
a great golfer. He was a
Christian and loved his
Lord, his wife and chil-
dren, his grandchildren and
his great grandchildren.
Jerrell was preceded in
death by a son James T
Witherspoon, November
13, 2012, his parents and
a sister, Nelwyn. He is sur-
vived by his loving wife,
Jimmie; his daughters, Jan
Thompson and Jill Hoover
and husband John; his son,
Joel Witherspoon and wife
Cyndi all of Pattonville, his
daughter in law Patricia
Witherspoon of Sherman
and one sister; Elta
Besherse and her husband
Johnnie, 8 grandchildren
and 2 great grandchildren.

passed away, February 11,
2014, at his residence, sur-
rounded by his family.
John was born December
19, 1952, in Clarksville to
Oran Floyd and Eula Mae
Tackett McGuire. He
graduated from
Clarksville High School in
1971 and was a member of
the Aikin Grove Mission-
ary Baptist Church. John
married Jeannie Duffee on
August 18, 1973. He
proudly served in the U.S.
Army.
Funeral services were
held at 2:00 p.m., Friday,
February 14, 2014, in
Lindeman Chapel of
Clarksville Funeral Home
with Rev. James Brown
and Rev. Richard
Crawford officiating.
Burial with Full Military
Honors followed in New
Shamrock Cemetery un-
der the direction of
Clarksville Funeral Home.
The family received
friends Thursday night
from 6 to 8 at Clarksville
Funeral Home.
