She had been sinking rapidly for
several days and the end was

ed by a large circle of friends.

charged -with the murder of Clint
Ruthbrford, waa taken up in the
district court ahd the case was
warmly contested by opposing
counsel until late Wednesday
evenings when it was given into
the hands of the jury.

Oak street, next door to Ely’s,
where we will be pleased to wel-
come our friends and She public
generally. The .growing de-
mands of the paper necessitated
more room and the long delayed
move has at last been accom-
plished.
We expect to be straightened
out and be id' tip-top shape to
give our readers a better paper

Graham’s Charity.
Last week a family arrived in
Graham in a destitute condition
and went into camp on Salt
creek. The family consists of
two women and several children
and all, with one or two excep-
tions, were sick and helpless.
As soon as the fact became
known Mr. R. E. Mabry interest-
ed himself in their behalf and
with the assistance of others

provided with everything nec
