State Experlaeiital farm Station
. . -it «f«,> .
Recognizing the great possibilities
and wonderful future of Spur Farm
Lands, the State has decided to place
ah experimental farn^station at Spur.
This will be a great benefit to the
people in that region—showing them
that-by actual demonstrations pn the
lands what crops can be most profit-
ably raised; best methods of cultivar
tion, and assisting in all the problems
of the farm. This decision was reach-
ed after a visit to the lands by Judge
Kd. R. Kone, Commissioner of Agri-
culture, and Dr.. H. H. Harrington,
Director of Experiment Stations, who
recognized their unusual farming value.
